Core Tip |
This was a prospective study involving 65 patients with colorectal cancer, seeking to find robust predictors of survival after surgical intervention amongst the leukocyte balances in peripheral blood, tumour, and peritumoural tissues. A number of these variables are shown to predict overall survival and recurrence-free survival in both RCRC and LCRC patients, thus allowing the improvement of pre- and postoperative patient treatments. |
