Core Tip |
This study is a real-world study. Through a retrospective analysis of the diagnosis and treatment process of 39 patients with Castleman disease (CD), we conclude that the clinical classification and pathological classification of CD are not completely independent, and there is an intermediate state or transition state between the two extreme manifestations. TAFRO syndrome is still classified as a special subtype of idiopathic multicentric Castleman disease (iMCD). TAFRO syndrome is easier to identify than iMCD-not otherwise specified because of its unique pathological and clinical features. |
