Core Tip |
This report is an uncommon case even among the rare alimentary tract duplication (ATD) cases. An entire colonic duplication without any connection to the digestive system was isolated in the abdomen pelvic. The presence of chronic sinus and several abnormalities appearing in a single case is extremely unique. There is little understanding of this disease with no consensus on the diagnosis and treatment. Additionally, the variable clinical features often lead to misdiagnosis. Here we present a successful diagnosis and treatment approach to improve the knowledge for the care of ATD cases. |
