This study investigated the clinical effect of insulin aspart combined with metformin on gestational diabetes mellitus and serum homocysteine (Hcy), tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin-6 and C-reactive protein, which represents a novel aspect in the field. The combination of drugs significantly improved the condition of patients, reduced adverse pregnancy outcomes and incidence of adverse reactions, decreased blood-glucose-related indicators, Hcy, and serum inflammatory cytokine levels, and exhibited a high level of safety. These findings provide an important basis for the clinical application and popularization of this combination therapy. |
