Core Tip |
Straight back syndrome (SBS), a benign skeletal abnormality of the thorax, is typically accompanied by mitral valve prolapse. Despite its prevalence, there is limited research on this condition, making effective diagnosis and treatment challenging. Recent studies have revealed controversy on SBS and its related mechanisms. This review focused on the mechanisms and current research progress of SBS associated with mitral valve prolapse. |
