Key Words Helicobacter pylori infection; Potassium competitive acid blockers; Proton pump inhibitors; Vonoprazan; Amoxicillin
Core Tip In the systematic review and meta-analysis on the treatment of Helicobacter pylori with potassium competitive acid blockers (P-CABs), vonoprazan-based triple therapy demonstrated superior efficacy over conventional proton pump inhibitor (PPI)-based triple therapy, establishing itself as a highly effective first-line regimen. Conversely, tegoprazan-based triple therapy was found to be non-inferior to classical PPI triple therapy. These findings signify a potential paradigm shift in H. pylori eradication strategies.
