Core Tip |
Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) guided tissue acquisition with fine needle aspiration or biopsy needles are an effective and safe approach to obtain liver samples. In this review our goal is to discuss the EUS-guided tissue acquisition options in patients with liver tumors and its efficacy and safety in providing accurate samples. The results of the last studies comparing EUS-guided liver biopsy with other conventional techniques are presented. |
