Core Tip |
This study examined the effect and clinicopathological characteristics of proteasome 26S subunit non-ATPase 6 (PSMD6) in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC). We discovered that the PSMD6 gene is essential to the proliferation of ICC cell lines. Furthermore, PSMD6 protein expression was markedly elevated in ICC specimens (P < 0.001), although it was not significantly correlated with patient age, gender, pathological grade, or tumor, node, metastasis stage (P > 0.05). These results indicate that PSMD6 may enhance the proliferation of ICC cells, thereby contributing to its oncogenic potential. |
