Core Tip |
Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis is a common glomerular disease that typically presents with nephrotic syndrome. Its presentation with kidney function loss is not unusual and generally signifies a poor prognosis. We earlier showed that kidney function loss at presentation is not necessarily associated with poor outcomes. This study further corroborates our previous findings and suggests to treat such patients in order to improve outcomes. |
