| Core Tip |
This review systematically summarizes the diagnostic and therapeutic potential of extracellular matrix (ECM) gene sets and microRNA (miRNA) regulatory networks in intestinal ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRII). We review the critical roles of ECM in the pathological processes of IRII and discuss the mechanisms by which specific miRNAs regulate inflammation, apoptosis, and ECM remodeling. Based on these molecular insights, potential diagnostic biomarkers and treatment strategies, including miRNA-targeted therapy and ECM component modulation, demonstrate significant clinical translational prospects. In summary, the roles of ECM and miRNAs in IRII provide new research directions aimed at improving patient diagnosis and treatment outcomes. |
