Core Tip |
Stearoyl-coenzyme A desaturase (SCD) is markedly upregulated in colorectal cancer (CRC), highlighting its role as an oncogenic factor and suggesting its potential as a therapeutic target. Our extensive analysis across multiple centers reveals that the increased SCD expression is closely associated with CRC progression and vascular invasion. Nitidine chloride, targeting SCD, shows promise in CRC treatment by potentially modulating the cell cycle. This study provides robust statistical evidence supporting SCD as a critical factor in CRC pathology and a viable target for effective therapeutic strategies. |
