Postpartum depression (PPD) is a mental illness that affects family and social harmony. This study found that increased body mass index and blood pressure variability during pregnancy can increase the risk of PPD in patients with pre-eclampsia. This suggests that controlling body mass index increase and blood pressure fluctuations during pregnancy in patients with pre-eclampsia is crucial to prevent these factors from negatively affecting their psychological well-being. Additionally, it plays an important role in reducing the overall incidence of maternal PPD. |
