Core Tip |
Despite advances in surgical techniques and products for stoma care, complications are still common, ranging from 25% to 60%. This study aimed to explore the factors influencing early postoperative complications in colorectal cancer patients and construct a nomogram to predict the probability of late postoperative complications in colorectal cancer patients. In this study, a previous history of diabetes, preoperative chemotherapy and radiotherapy, colostomy type, Nutritional risk screening 2002 and prognostic nutritional index were selected as risk factors for early colostomy complications after colorectal cancer surgery through single factor and multiple factor analysis, and a nomogram prediction model was constructed based on the results of multifactor logistics. This model has good prediction efficiency and is helpful for predicting the probability of early colostomy complications after colorectal cancer surgery. |
