Core Tip |
Hypertension is a strong determinant of pregnancy outcomes in patients with chronic kidney disease. Hence, the success of pregnancy depends largely on the prevention of hypertension and the effective management of patients who develop hypertension and its associated complications. Preeclampsia can lead to a decline in renal function and can worsen preexisting kidney damage. A tailored approach to blood pressure management in these patients can help salvage both the pregnancy and the kidneys. |
