Core Tip This study retrospectively evaluated the effectiveness and safety of using C-arm computed tomography-guided microwave ablation in conjunction with percutaneous osteoplasty to manage painful flat bone metastases. The key outcomes included postoperative pain relief, functional improvement, quality of life (QOL) enhancement, and occurrence of serious complications. These results indicate that this combined therapy is effective and safe for managing painful flat bone metastases. It offers significant benefits for pain control, functionality, and QOL.
