Core Tip |
We have reported a rare homozygous phytosterolemia. We followed up the patient and found that dietary regulation can play a role in lowering blood lipids, and lipid-lowering drugs can be avoided if the diet is well controlled. Second, ezetimibe can reduce plant steroidemia. Most of the parents of homozygous plant steroidemia are close relatives. In this case, the parents of the patient are not close relatives. We will also follow up the patient's family members. |
