Core Tip |
Gastric cancer (GC) is the fifth most common malignancy. Despite advancements in immunotherapies, patient prognosis remains poor, necessitating the identification of key prognostic factors to optimize treatment approaches. Triglyceride glucose (TyG) index is increasingly recognized for its impact on cancer progression and immune modulation, and its potential role in GC prognosis is of particular interest. However, only a few studies have explored the effect of the TyG index on the prognosis of patients with advanced GC. Therefore, we initiated a retrospective clinical study to explore the impact of the TyG index on the prognosis of patients with advanced GC receiving immunosuppressive agents when combined with chemotherapy. |
