Core Tip |
A significant correlation has been identified between polymorphisms of human leukocyte antigen-DP-DQ and the risk of liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma linked to hepatitis B virus infection. In this article, we aim to highlight this study has the potential to transform personalized medical treatments and prevention strategies through the identification of key molecular markers. Additionally, incorporating other upregulated genes related to hepatitis B virus infection could uncover additional genetic markers, greatly enhancing the management and treatment of liver disease. |
