Core Tip |
In this letter, we comment on a recent article published in the World Journal of Gastroenterology by Xiao et al, where the authors aimed to use a deep learning model to detect gastrointestinal lesions during capsule endoscopy automatically. We reached the conclusion that capsule endoscopy is still very helpful in clinical practice, but it has many challenges that prevent gastroenterologists from ordering it and need to be addressed by future studies. |
