Core Tip |
Perioperative disinfection and isolation measures are crucial for infection control in gastrointestinal surgery. This study demonstrates that implementing these measures significantly reduces postoperative infection rates, lowers inflammatory markers (white blood cell count, C-reactive protein), and improves liver function and recovery outcomes. A comprehensive approach, including preoperative skin preparation, intraoperative aseptic techniques, and strict postoperative wound care, enhances patient safety, reduces complications, shortens hospital stays, and mitigates antibiotic resistance. Strengthening these strategies can provide valuable guidance for improving infection prevention protocols in surgical settings and optimizing postoperative recovery. |
