Core Tip |
Mindfulness-based interventions, when combined with integrated rehabilitation treatment, significantly reduce emotional and social withdrawal in people with psychosis, addressing specific negative symptom manifestations that are not improved by integrated rehabilitation alone. This effect may be attributed to the role of mindfulness in fostering acceptance of psychotic experiences, enhancing emotional engagement, and promoting social interaction. The study highlights the potential of mindfulness as a valuable adjunct to rehabilitation treatment. |
