Core Tip |
The molecular mechanisms underlying hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) development remain challenging to fully elucidate. The advent of high-throughput sequencing technologies has revealed that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play a pivotal role in gene regulation, contributing to cell proliferation, inhibiting apoptosis, promoting invasion and metastasis, and modulating metabolic processes. Dysregulation of lncRNAs is intricately linked to the progression of HCC, indicating their potential as prognostic markers and therapeutic targets. In this review, we systematically examine the research progress on lncRNA-mediated regulation of cell death in HCC cells and discuss its potential therapeutic applications. |
