| Core Tip |
Operative reports (OP-Rs) are a crucial part of patient care and safety. Currently, there is no standardized method for the documentation of the primary total knee replacement (TKR) procedure. A standardized list of documentation variables was created and the completeness of the primary TKR OP-Rs was assessed. It was found that multiple mandatory variables were infrequently documented. This study proposes a standardized method for documenting primary TKR OP-R to improve the reliability of this crucial document. |
