Core Tip |
This study highlights the distinct clinical and laboratory profiles of proximal and distal gastric cancers. The platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio was identified as a significant marker for differentiating cancer localization, while the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio emerged as an independent predictor of all-cause mortality. These findings emphasize the potential of hematological and inflammatory markers in improving diagnostic precision and guiding personalized treatment strategies for gastric cancer. |
