Core Tip |
Oral nucleos(t)ide analogues have been widely used in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B, but the effects of different drugs on kidney function remain inconclusive. Our study showed no statistically significant difference in the effect of different antiviral drugs on renal function. Urinary β-2 microglobulin does not have a significant advantage over estimated glomerular filtration rate for early warning of renal function. This study also found that male is an independent risk factor for renal impairment. Men should pay more attention to the changes in renal function indicators when using antiviral drugs, which provides a clear direction for clinical medication. |
