Core Tip |
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma is an aggressive malignancy with a delayed diagnosis and poor prognosis. The newest diagnostic tools and proper management are crucial for determining survival. The current approach must be multidisciplinary and individualized. Surgical resection alone is not enough; it must be accompanied by other novel therapeutic modalities, such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted gene therapy, immunotherapy and vaccines. |
