| Core Tip |
Diabetic kidney disease (DKD) represents a prevalent and serious complication of diabetes. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and their extracellular vesicles (MSC-EVs) show promise for treating DKD by regulating apoptosis; however, challenges such as a lack of standardization, hinder their clinical application. This review examines the research progress on the roles of MSCs and MSC-EVs in this disease. |
