Core Tip |
The incidence of remnant pancreatic cancer is increasing as advances in diagnostic modalities and better multidisciplinary management have contributed to improved survival in pancreatic cancer patients. Recognition of various genetic factors may help in the early detection of remnant pancreatic carcinoma and provide better management. Recent trends show a shift towards surgical management of remnant pancreatic cancer. However, managing pancreatic remnant carcinoma needs further detailed introspection and research to optimize outcomes. |
