Core Tip |
The use of individualized autoprobiotic strains of indigenous enterococci can be recommended for postoperative colorectal cancer (CRC) patients undergoing chemotherapy to reduce the risk of postoperative complications, enhance treatment efficacy and tolerability, and improve overall quality of life. Moreover, restoring gut microbiota homeostasis may help lower the risk of CRC recurrence by reducing pro-carcinogenic inflammation associated with gut dysbiosis. |
