Core Tip |
In the present study, the clinical and imaging data of 53 dual-phenotype hepatocellular carcinoma (DPHCC) patients and 124 intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) patients were collected, the regions of interest were delineated slice by slice, and relevant information was extracted to construct a clinical-sign model, a radiomic model, and a combined model. Subsequently, the performance of the predictive models was evaluated to explore their clinical applicability. The study found radiomics can effectively differentiate DPHCC and ICC preoperatively, and with assistance from the developed model; the accuracy of less experienced doctors in the differential diagnosis of these two diseases can be improved. |
