This case highlights the rare coexistence of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN) and intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct (IPNB) in a 58-year-old Chinese man presenting with abdominal pain. The patient underwent successful surgical resection and had an excellent prognosis with no recurrence during the 30-month follow-up. This case emphasizes the importance of comprehensive preoperative assessment using multiple imaging modalities and individualized management for complex tumors such as IPNB and IPMN. |
