| Core Tip |
This study evaluates the added prognostic value of combining serum ferritin and neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio with Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) in predicting 30-day mortality among adult critically ill sepsis patients. Using data from the Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care database, the integration of these inflammatory biomarkers with SOFA improved model discrimination and reclassification, supporting their potential role in enhancing early risk stratification in sepsis. |
