| Core Tip |
Gastritis cystica profunda (GCP) is a rare submucosal lesion of the stomach, and its etiology and pathogenesis remain unclear. It is generally considered benign, and no standardized treatment protocol currently exists. We report a case of GCP complicated by acute inflammation and abscess formation, successfully treated with partial gastrectomy. This case highlights a previously unreported complication of GCP and underscores the diagnostic utility of enhanced computed tomography for GCP. |
