| Core Tip |
This study revealed that the incidence of Clostridium difficile infection in hospitalized older adults with pressure ulcers was 32.5%. Antibiotic use for more than 2 weeks, proton pump inhibitor use, and β-lactam antibiotic treatment were independent risk factors, providing an important basis for clinically targeted prevention and control. |
