| Core Tip |
Patients with secondary mitral valve regurgitation from the real world who underwent transcatheter edge-to-edge repair of the mitral valve may show different characteristics and outcomes from those recruited in the landmark trials. Patients from the landmark trials may have overall favorable characteristics, but this did not translate into better outcomes over time. There were no major variations over time in terms of characteristics and outcomes when comparing patients from real-world and those from the landmark trials. |
