This study investigates the correlation between frontal lobe electroencephalogram asymmetry and cognitive prognosis in patients with schizophrenia. By focusing on frontal alpha asymmetry and frontoparietal network connectivity, we explore novel neurophysiological biomarkers for predicting cognitive outcomes. Our findings suggest that frontal alpha asymmetry under eyes-open conditions may serve as a critical indicator of cognitive recovery post-treatment. These insights could enhance personalized treatment plans and improve prognostic evaluations in clinical settings. |
