The efficacy and safety of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) combination therapy in the perioperative period of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive gastric cancer (GC) have not been confirmed by large-scale clinical studies. This study introduces a case of neoadjuvant treatment for HER2-positive GC using standard chemotherapy combined with anti-HER2 therapy, and systematically summarizes the current related research on chemotherapy combined with targeted therapy and ICI-based combined therapy. The efficacy of ICI combined therapy during the perioperative period still requires further confirmation through a phase III clinical trial. |
