| Core Tip |
In this single-center study from Northern India, phospholipase A2 receptor-associated membranous nephropathy was identified as the most common form, with most patients presenting in a high-risk category and a slight female predominance observed. While initial supportive care had limited success, immunosuppressive therapy was highly effective, leading to remission in over 80% of patients. Importantly, there was no significant difference in remission rates between the modified Ponticelli and other immunosuppressive regimens. The study highlights the effectiveness of immunosuppression in this patient population, despite its limitations as a small-scale, single-center observational study. |
