The Endocuff device has been previously shown to improve polyp detection in screening colonoscopy. We demonstrate in this study that in an experienced group of gastroenterologists the device did not improve polyp detection, possibly diminishing polyp detection for experienced endoscopists. While several limitations, the Endocuff did not offer a clinically meaningful improvement in polyp detection. |
