| Core Tip |
This study investigated the impact of nutritional status on treatment completion and prognosis in gastric cancer patients undergoing adjuvant chemotherapy after surgery. Nutritional Risk Screening 2002 ≥ 3 was identified as an independent risk factor for reduced chemotherapy completion and poor survival. Patients with nutritional risk experienced more severe toxicities, lower relative dose intensity, and worse 3-year disease-free and overall survival. Routine nutritional risk assessment and timely intervention may improve chemotherapy adherence and outcomes in gastric cancer patients. |
