We present a case of a traumatic osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture accompanied by bilateral pedicle fractures, in which the patient's lower back pain and lower extremity symptoms were successfully alleviated through percutaneous vertebroplasty combined with bilateral headless cannulated screw fixation under local anesthesia. Compared to conventional approaches requiring general anesthesia, this technique is markedly less invasive, can be performed under local anesthesia, and may represent a novel minimally invasive alternative for the management of similar cases in the future. |
