Duodenal stump fistula (DSF) is a rare complication after gastrectomy and is associated with a high mortality rate. Various treatment methods have been described. We report a case of DSF treated with T-tube duodenostomy combined with jejunal feeding tube placement, in which the patient was cured and discharged within a short period. We summarize the characteristics of this disease and provide clinicians with a surgical treatment option and a prevention approach. |
