| Core Tip |
Endoscopic stricturotomy is an established minimally invasive treatment for small-bowel fibrostenotic strictures, but whether outcomes differ by stricture etiology is not well defined. In this retrospective study with long-term follow-up, non-Crohn’s disease strictures had more durable reintervention-free survival than Crohn’s disease-related strictures. A lower neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio was associated with a lower risk of reintervention, supporting its use as a simple preprocedural risk marker. |
