Colorectal lipoma; Rectal prolapse; Trans-anal resection |
| Core Tip |
Colorectal lipomas are typically asymptomatic. They are incidentally found on colonoscopy or radiologic imaging. This report portrays a rare presentation of colonic lipomas as an incarcerated prolapsed mass through the anus, and highlights trans-anal resection as a simple, safe and effective treatment. Thus, it describes an uncommon pathology with a unique presentation that sets a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge. |
