Core Tip |
The release of sugammadex in recent times has been a global shift in the strategy of the reversal of neuromuscular blockade (NMB) induced by aminosteroid neuromuscular blocking. The use of this drug has been increasing slowly, and consequently, we receive more and more questions in regards to its efficacy and safety. In this study we compared the dose of 2 mg/kg to 4 mg/kg sugammadex to reverse the NMB when first response in the train-of-four is reached after continuous infusion of rocuronium. Both doses have been shown to be effective for recovery from NMB. |
