Core Tip |
To date, only a handful of studies have focused on the effect of Ringer’s solution in the treatment of acute pancreatitis (AP). We believe that our findings could be of interest to the readers because they may allow for a more reliable review of a complex area of fluid resuscitation in the setting of AP compared with existing studies. These results were mainly achieved by applying the modified Atlanta score in our study, which includes “end points” focused on the final AP treatment outcome rather than only on changes in a single laboratory parameter and clinical signs.
