Core Tip Gastrocutaneous fistula after esophagectomy is infrequent, but it is notorious for the difficulty of achieving closure. We describe the case of a patient with a non-healing gastrocutaneous fistula after esophagectomy for esophageal squamous cell car-cinoma which was successfully closed using an over-the-scope clip (OTSC) system. This is the first report of the use of OTSC to treat this type of gastrocutaneous fistula.
