Core Tip |
Acute pancreatitis is the most common serious complication of endoscopic retrograde cholan-giopancreatography (ERCP); prevention of post-ERCP pancreatitis (PEP) has become more challenging. The use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs is effective in this condition. This study evaluated the efficacy of rectally administered naproxen for the prevention of PEP in composition with placebo immediately before ERCP. |
