The importance of hepatocarcinoma (HCC) is undeniable in the current medical perspective. However, a lot still remains to be understood in this context. Therefore, this review aims to present the significance of innate immunity in HCC through toll-like receptors as they have already shown interesting effects on tumour’s
microenvironment, influencing its progression or regre-ssion. As a result we also render some therapeutic usages of the established knowledge in this area.
