Core Tip |
We genotyped five single nucleotide polymorphisms [Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) -1031T>C, -863C>A, -857C>T, -308G>A, and -238G>A] in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients and control subjects. A number of genotype combinations and some haplotypes had association with HCC. In addition, HCC Okuda stage Ⅲ cases with the TNF-α -1031 TT genotype had a better prognosis than those with the CC genotype. |
